Maya Krishnan (Oxford): "Two new problems for ideal reasoners"
It has become increasingly common for contemporary philosophers of mind and epistemologists to appeal to ideal reasoning processes. In this talk, I will present two new criticisms of theoretical appeals to ideal reasoning processes, holding that such appeals face both explanatory and metaphysical problems.
